Strong leadership communication isn’t a ‘nice to have’
– it’s a strategic advantage.
At Grünenthal, a global pharmaceutical company,
leaders – all experts in their field – needed to strengthen their personal communication,
particularly in virtual settings and across geographically dispersed teams.
The challenge wasn’t a lack of knowledge, but delivering messages consistently, resonating with their audience and engaging colleagues at every level of the organisation.
We gave their leaders practical communication skills they could use straight away to elevate their impact and strengthen connections across the business.
Working in partnership with the CFO and the global finance leadership team, we designed and delivered a highly interactive, in-person communication training session tailored to
their real-world challenges.

In our practical, hands-on session,
we focused on:
-
Asking better questions to drive engagement and insight
-
Communicating with clarity and intention
-
Building connection and presence, particularly in virtual settings
-
Practising techniques live, with immediate feedback and refinement – leaders tested the tools during the session and began applying them straight away.
“The amazing impact of learning to ask questions
in a different way.”
“A well-balanced session
– informative, interactive and consistently helpful.”
The impact
The training made an immediate impression on participants’ confidence and capability.
100% of participants rated the session as excellent or very good, reinforcing the value of a practical, tailored approach to communication development.
The outcome
-
Greater confidence in high-stakes and virtual communication
-
Practical tools they could apply immediately
-
A shared approach to communicating clearly and consistently across a global organisation
-
The skills to create stronger engagement and connection within their teams.
When leaders communicate with clarity and confidence, teams align faster, decisions land more effectively and strategy turns into action.
